About
In 2023, Joanna Greenbaum published Mindful Menstruation to provide a succinct and accessible introduction to the menstrual cycle and mental health. Based on her personal and professional experience as a therapist, Joanna saw a gap in educational resources about menstrual cycles. Mindful Menstruation is meant to help people with periods better understand their cycles and their mental health.
Prior to publishing her book, Joanna started @inflowwithjo in 2022 as a way to educate people about the menstrual cycle and explore the intersection between mental health and the menstrual cycle. Joanna’s offerings include educational material development and cycle workshops as well as professional workshops for menstruating and non-menstruating mental health clinicians.
Joanna Greenbaum is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is a Certified Menstrual Health Coach and Educator. She is passionate about de-stigmatizing conversations about periods. For more information about Joanna’s clinical work, please visit www.joannagreenbaum.com.
